Like the green övningskör sign that lets drivers know there's a learner on the road, the övningstalar pin lets people know you're learning to speak Swedish.

People often switch to English when they realise you're still learning. Usually they're trying to be helpful — but it can mean you lose the chance to practise. The pin says it for you, so you can keep the conversation in Swedish:

"I'm learning Swedish. Please speak Swedish with me."
