Who is cultural training for?
Our cultural programs are designed for organizations where collaboration spans borders, languages and ways of working.
-
Your teams work internationally
... and collaboration feels slower or more complicated than expected.
-
You support International hires
... and want onboarding to go beyond language and logistics.
-
You lead across cultures
... and notice differences in feedback, decision-making, or ownership.
-
Your organization is growing or changing
... and ways of working are no longer aligned.
Why Culture Matters
Culture shapes how people interpret instructions, build trust, give feedback, and make decisions — often without them realizing it.
When cultural expectations differ, even highly skilled and well-intentioned teams can struggle. What feels clear to one person may feel vague to another. What seems efficient in one culture may feel rushed — or overly slow — in another.
Understanding these differences doesn’t mean stereotyping. It means creating awareness, shared language, and practical strategies for working together more effectively.
Culture doesn’t replace language training — it explains what language alone can’t.

Our approach
Every organization has its own cultural mix. That's why our programs are never off-the-shelf.
1. Understand your context
We start by learning about your organization, teams, roles, and challenges. This may include interviews, surveys, or preparatory discussions to understand what is really happening in day-to-day work.
2. Design targeted training or coaching
Based on your context, we design workshops or coaching sessions focused on real workplace situations - communication, feedback, leadership, collaboration and decision-making.
3. Create lasting impact
We support reflection, follow-up, and optional ongoing coaching so insights turn into everyday practice, not just a one-time experience.
Every organization has its own cultural mix. That's why our programs are never off-the-shelf.

Meet our Cultural Coaches
"SpeakCharlie's language training is very popular with us at Tre.
For us, the language training is a win-win for both the employees and the company, and it is an important element of our inclusion work.
The flexible collaboration and assistance with course coordination make it easy and smooth to enlist your help."

"SpeakCharlie has helped my colleagues at Hemnet with their Swedish language training for a long time.
Although we are a very Swedish company, many of our employees come from different countries around the world. At Hemnet, we don’t require Swedish language skills, so the participants primarily focus on conversational Swedish. We believe it’s an important part of inclusion to offer our international colleagues the opportunity to learn Swedish if they wish.
We were looking for a partner who could make Swedish language training fun and tailored to the participant’s needs, and SpeakCharlie truly delivers on that."
Elin Jakobsson
Talent Acquisition Partner, Hemnet AB

FAQ Cultural Programs
We offer a range of programs from cultural assessments, in-person and/or online workshops, individual and team coaching and ongoing monitoring.
Each program is customized based on your organization’s specific goals, industry, and team dynamics. We begin with an assessment of your needs and develop a program that aligns with your objectives.
The duration varies depending on the program, your team’s availability, and the delivery, but half-day and full-day programs are most common.
We can do one-on-one cultural training, but we find that groups of between 15 and 20 people are optimal for in-person workshops. With larger groups and on-line sessions, we use breakout sessions to encourage sharing and discussion.
Every SpeakCharlie language training program includes and incorporates elements of culture - without culture, language is just words. Our cultural training programs are focused specifically on culture, and are held in the language of the company.
Yes, we provide examples of how our programs have successfully improved communication, collaboration, and overall performance for our clients.
