Our start: Swedish for Professionals
SpeakCharlie was founded in 2014 as Swedish for Professionals, with a focus on helping expats integrate into Swedish society through tailored Swedish language instruction.
Over the years, our services expanded, our global impact grew, and we realized the importance of cultural awareness and integration programs in supporting international teams. We therefore needed a brand that would reflect our broader mission - to help global companies integrate a diverse, multilingual and international workforce.
Our next phase: SpeakCharlie
In 2024, we officially rebranded the company as SpeakCharlie. We believe there is a “Charlie” in each of us - a global explorer eager to adapt, grow and seize new opportunities.
Charlie symbolizes the curiosity and drive to navigate diverse cultures and perspectives. Though we are based in Stockholm, our team of language tutors spans the globe. We pride ourselves in matching tutors to learners and in enhancing a corporate environment that promotes learning and cross-cultural communication.
